The head of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control of drugs in the Odessa Region Vasyl Fesenko was hospitalized as a result of knife wounds inflicted by unknown people in Odessa on November 3 in the evening. This is reported by Ukrainian News, citing a representative for the General Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in the Odessa Region.
He specified, according to witnesses, Fesenko was attacked by 3 or 4 men in masks. "The attack happened near the office of Inspectorate, which is located in the Primorsky district of Odessa on Gagarina Avenue," - said the representative.
According to him, Fesenko, fleeing for life toward the office, managed to make several shots from his legally registered gun. "Nevertheless, the attackers managed to inflict Fesenko stab wounds. He was taken to hospital - the police and an ambulance were summoned from the office by staff of inspection", - said the representative.
According to the source, one of versions of the attack is the professional activities of injured. Investigation is being carried out.
