It will be possible to turn off mobile phones whose IMEI codes are included in the list of illegal phones only if the subscriber receives SMS-messages from the operator that he is included in the terminal of the list of the generalized database with illegal IMEI codes. The date of disconnection will be included in the message also. This was reported in the press service of the National Commission for Communications Regulation of Ukraine.
The commission explained that if within 90 days the subscriber does not confirm the legality of origin of a mobile terminal in the Enterprise Ukrainian State Center of Radio Frequencies and it will not be transferred to the white list, then the mobile phone will be disconnected, UNIAN reports.
As a reminder, in order to avoid erroneous disconnection of phones, whose IMEI codes were untimely filed or not filed to the operators in the Ukrainian State Center of Radio Frequencies for inclusion in the generalized database, the National Commission for Communications Regulation has ordered operators to check and agree with the State Center the list of illegal phones. After that operators are obliged to continue the mailing of SMS messages about disconnection.
The National Commission for Communications Regulation NCRC obliged mobile operators to start sending SMS messages to subscribers, whose telephones are in the list of illegal phones according to the information received from the Ukrainian State Center of Radio Frequencies.
