The Ukrainian side has signed 21 out of 26 documents adopted at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments of CIS countries, the press secretary of Prime Minister of Ukraine Vitalii Lukianenko.
According to Vitalii Lukianenko, one of the important documents signed by Ukraine, is the decision on the state of competition in the telecommunications market of the CIS countries. "The idea is to reduce the cost of roaming between the CIS countries", - he explained.
In addition, Ukraine has signed the documents on the preparation of a draft treaty on free trade zone of the CIS, a preliminary draft of an interstate target program of innovation cooperation between CIS countries during the period until 2020, an agreement on cooperation in the field of legal protection and protection of intellectual property. Also, the Ukrainian side has signed the decision on the forecast of production and use of energy resources of the CIS countries for the period up to 2020, on the concept of food security of the CIS countries, on the main target macroeconomic indicators of economic development of the CIS, as well as a plan of priority actions in the sphere of humanitarian cooperation for 2011 - 2012 years, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
