The superheavyweight boxer Vitali Klitschko claimed he reached a provisional agreement on his duel with Briton David Haye. According to Klitschko, the UK, Germany and the United States take an interest in the duel, but first of all Haye needs to conduct a mandatory fight with American John Ruiz.
On November 7 Haye won the title of the world champion (version WBA (World Boxing Association)), gaining a victory over Russian Nikolay Valuev. Ruiz is the official challenger of WBA, and his battle with Briton is to take place in March-April 2010, reports Lenta.ru.
Klitschko senior is the champion of the world according to the version of WBC (World Boxing Council). On December 12, he defended his title by gaining a victory over American Kevin Johnson by points. Negotiations on this fight Vitali Klitschko - David Haye were held in summer 2009, but then the Briton refused to fight with the Ukrainian.
On December 14 the German newspaper Bild wrote that Klitschko plans to meet with Valuev in April-May 2010. The boxer told in an interview that his fight with Valuev will not be interesting for American television, but maybe this fight will take place.
