The leader of the For Ukraine Party and a member of the Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense faction, Viacheslav Kyrylenko, was questioned in the investigative department of the prosecutor's office of Kyiv on Tuesday in the frames of the investigation into the brawl in the parliament's session hall on December 16, Channel 5 reported.
"I do not know whether anybody else was questioned. I might be the first one. Perhaps there is some limited number of people – this issue should not be addressed to me, but to law enforcement agencies. But I think that there is a general trend, which is aimed at restraining the opposition in its conduct at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and this is not a question of law enforcement agencies, this is the question of political freedoms in Ukraine," Kyrylenko said in an interview with Channel 5 after leaving the building the investigative department of the prosecutor's office of Kyiv.
The politician was held at the prosecutor's office for about an hour. Before the interrogation, Kyrylenko said that he did not know in what case he would be questioned. Interfax-Ukraine
