Yesterday, on August 31 Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Hanna Herman won a court case that was initiated against her by BYuT (Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko) MP Andrii Shkil. The Court of Appeal of Kyiv took the decision took on Tuesday, August 31. The court ruled that Hanna Herman did not violate the rights of Andrii Shkil during discussions with him on November 2, 2007 during a talk show in the air of TV channel, reports Ukrainian Pravda.
As known, previously Shevchenkovskyi district court of Kyiv decided that information given by MP from the Regions Party addressed to the MP of BYuT was false. The court decided to allow the claim of Andrii Shkil to Hanna Herman and acknowledged that her public accusations that long ago Andrii Shkil "sent somebody else's children to shoot in Abkhazia," was false information.
Today it has become known that the Kyiv Court of Appeal did not acknowledge that information about sending children in Abkhazia by the MP of BYuT Andrii Shkil was not reliable. The MP said Gazeta.ua about it. "The court decided that the Herman’s words (Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Hanna Herman - editor.) do not affect my personal interests, that is, they have got out of the situation", - said Andrii Shkil.
At the same time, the MP assured that he would appeal the decision of the Kyiv court of appeal, which "freed Hanna Herman from responsibility for her words."
