The state commission investigating the causes of the traffic accident at a railway crossing near Marhanets in the Dnipropetrovska region, has found that the driver who violated traffic regulations, is guilty of the accident, according to the head of the State Administration of Road Transport of Ukraine Serhii Dobrohod.
According to him, all the other causes of the tragedy have been established, in particular, the fact that the driver forged a medical certificate, and in 2004 he was required to wear lenses or spectacles. In addition, according to him, the bus had tinted windows.
Serhii Dobrohod also said that the State Administration of Road Transport, railroads and local authorities carry out a survey of railway crossings not equipped with gates (there are about two thousand railway crossings), writes Comments.
