The Interior Ministry believed that the collision of public bus with a train at a railway crossing in Marhanets (Dnipropetrovska region) was due to a combination of factors, said Deputy Interior Minister Vasyl Farynnyk.
According to Deputy Interior, investigators found out that the bus driver had problems with his eyesight: "He should wear lenses or glasses," RBK-Ukraine reports.
Also Vasyl Farynnyk added that the driver passed a medical examination long ago. In addition, the Deputy Minister said that the traffic accident was a result of the human factor also: the driver was not expecting that at that moment when he crossed the crossing, one more train would appear on the rails.
In addition, the investigation found out that the left side of cab of the bus driver was dimmed out violating the safety rules and its light transmission was 2,14 percents.
Also, the investigation did not confirm the version that the driver belonged to the destructive sects.
