Court of Kyiv-Sviatoshyno district of the Kyiv Region has chosen detention as a preventive measure for Boyarka mayor (Kyiv Region) Taras Dobryvsky. This is stated in the press service of the Chief Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of the Interior.

Dobryvsky was detained while bribe-taking of the Central Anticorruption Bureau of the Chief Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of Interior Ministry together with the prosecutor’s office of the Kyiv Region. The official demanded and received US $26,000 for a settlement of the issue of allocation of land lots.

The case was opened under Article 368 (large-scale bribery) of the Criminal Code.

In addition, law enforcers suspect arrestee of committing several crimes related to the machinations of the land, Ukrainian News reported.
