The police chief of Crimea Hennady Moskal requested institution of criminal proceedings against the son of the Simferopol city council deputy Vitaly Faingold for beating of assistant prosecutor of the Desniansky district of Kyiv in 2005 from the Prosecutor's General Office. It is said in the deputy’s inquiry of Hennady Moskal to the Prosecutor General Oleksandr Medvedko.
Hennady Moskal said a resident of Kyiv appealed to him as a MP. He claimed in the statement that Vitaly Faingold, being drunk, beat him out of hooliganism and put out a cigarette on his face.
Hennady Moskal asks the Prosecutor’s General Office "to institute criminal proceedings against Vitali Faingold”.
He is calling to order the prosecuting authorities carrying out an investigation outside Crimea, UNIAN reports.
In addition, on October 26 Hennady Moskal appealed to Olexander Medvedko with a request to institute criminal proceedings against Vitali Faingold "on the fact of inflicting bodily injuries by him in 2007 at a restaurant in Symferopil to an official of special unit Berkut, who served as guardian of public order. Hennady Moskal also asks "any prosecutor's office" outside Crimea to investigate the case.
In July the Railway District Court of Symferopil began to consider criminal proceedings against Vitali Faingold on a collision with a car Bentley leading to the death of biker Hanna Mishutkyna. According to experts, Vitali Faingold was driving at a speed of 171 kilometer per hour.
