The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine started work at the preparation of the signing of an agreement with Russia on stationing of the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea, Podrobnosti cites the speaker of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Valery Dzhyhun as saying.
"Following the results of the visit (of Foreign Minister of Ukraine), Petro Poroshenko to Moscow, today experts have already begun work. They are working in Kyiv and develop a draft agreement between Ukraine and Russia to resolve the questions of jurisdiction and to provide legal assistance for the period of the Black Sea Fleet stationing on Ukrainian territory," -- he said.
He added Ukrainian and Russian experts will have a meeting to discuss issues related to the Black Sea Fleet stationing on October 28-29.
Also, according to him, a draft agreement will be prepared between the governments of Ukraine and Russia on cooperation in conducting inspection activities in the places of the Black Sea Fleet dislocation in the range of bilateral international treaties.
