One of the leaders of the Neapolitan criminal organization Camorra, Raffaele Stolder was arrested on October 22 during a scuffle with people from Ukraine, on Thursday local media L'Unione Sarda reported.
The conflict between the mafia and two Ukrainians - man and woman - took place in the heart of Naples. According to assumptions of police, Stolder tried to rob the couple, going by Mercedes car, but they made a stand against bandit.
As a result, a scuffle started, and firearm was used. It is not known who opened fire. Later patrol detained a mafia boss, reports Lenta.ru.
Currently Stolder who was wounded during the scuffle with Ukrainians, is under police guard in the local hospital. Ukrainian, female was taken to the hospital also. She was shot in the leg during the conflict with the mafia.
Raffaele Stolder had been in the field of view of Neapolitan law enforcement agencies for a long time. In 1992 he was included into the first edition of the list of most wanted criminals in Italy. In the same year he was arrested and sentenced to the high security prison. Mafioso was released in 2007.
